About

I am without a doubt a type A personality.  Yes, I can be bossy and controlling, but I am also passionate and loyal.

I believe in my family, a son who is serving his country in the United States Navy,  and a daughter who everyday shows me that being young and smart is a fascinating path to live by.  My husband is older and wiser, and I am so much in love with him that is hard to convince him that I am more often right than wrong.

I believe in equal rights for all, and I do mean all.  I don’t care about race, religion, sexuality, or your culture.  If you are nice to me I’ll always be your friend.  I love to talk and chat.  Stop by Facebook or Twitter and say hi!

Some of my passions conflict with some of my beliefs, talk about a stinky complication.  I love green energy and doing right by the Earth.  And my favorite sport… is NASCAR.   As a child, my father drove a stock car at a local dirt race track, so I grew up on the sport.  I can’t wait for the next race!  It is my weakness.  But as I grew older I began to pay attention to things like recycling, when I married my hippy husband I learned about composting.  As time has gone by, I find myself caring about so much more.  At the end of the last NASCAR season though, I felt just a little less guilty.  NASCAR announced a change that I am ecstatic about!  Starting with the 2011 season, 15% Ethanol fuel is now being used in the stock cars, several years back NASCAR switched from leaded to unleaded fuel.

But now it’s time to do more about the Earth, and I intend to do so.  I’ll talk more about that in upcoming blogs.

With all that, I am just getting started…. ready?
